Ms. Kendall began in 1980 as a fund development officer for the United Negro College Fund (now UNCF), Chicago office, and later was a development officer at the YWCA DuPage District. She progressed over the years to association management, serving as executive director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce from 2004 to 2008. In addition to years of fund development and non-profit management experience, Ms. Kendall brings knowledge of the Kane and DuPage County donor communities, as well as creative and visionary thinking to her position as Executive Director of St. Charles Singers. Ms. Kendall holds a bachelor of arts degree from Northern Illinois University (1979). Ms. Kendall has a life long love of music, especially choral music. As a teenager and young adult she sang in school and church choirs. Though her days of singing have long since ended, she continues to love and to support choral music.
