Rob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Northern Illinois University. During his time at NIU he studied conducting with Dr. Eric Johnson and private voice with Myron Myers.

Rob has been teaching private voice since 2009 and is also a skilled conductor and pianist. He performs extensively throughout northern Illinois including the Chicagoland area. Past experiences include lead tenor with The Canterbury Singers from 2001-2009, Cor Cantiamo from 2009-2015 and appearances at various choral conventions including ACDA National Conventions and Chorus America. From 2009-2014, Mr. Campbell directed the vocal ensemble, The Canterbury Singers, a 24-voice group of professional singers specializing in English music.

Rob has worked and performed with Morten Lauridsen, Craig Hella Johnson, Philip Moore, James Whitbourn, Jaakko Mantijarvi, John Nelson, and premiered commissions by John Rutter and Jake Runestad, among others.

His non-musical interests include, cooking, painting, and cuddling his dogs Elton and Gracemms
