Cynthia is a free-lance musician and has sung with St. Charles Singers since 2001.  Her early interest in music led her to Goshen College where she earned a B.A. in piano pedagogy. Originally from Amish and Mennonite country in rural Ohio, one of Cynthia’s fondest memories is singing four-part harmony hymns in church, a cappella, where her mother was song leader. Today, she continues in her love of church music as Music Director at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. She sings in a variety of Chicago based chamber groups as well as frequently singing in recital.
