Rachel joined the St. Charles Singers in the fall of 2021 and has enjoyed every bit of the experience since. She was first introduced to the ensemble as a high school student through their Sing! program, and now feels honored to be singing in the “big leagues” alongside such talented and passionate musicians.
Rachel currently teaches choir at Indian Trail Junior High School in Addison, IL, where she has the joy of helping students grow as confident, expressive musicians. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from Illinois State University in 2019 and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Educational Technology.
During her time at ISU, she was an active performer, participating in Concert Choir, Madrigal Singers, Opera, and the a cappella group On the Brink of Normal. She was also honored as a winner of ISU’s Concerto/Aria Competition.
She now lives in Naperville, IL, where she shares her home with her two cats.
