Mozart Festival Weekend
Aug 24 – 26, 2018, *Baker Church

The choir’s first Mozart Festival Weekend will be anchored by Mozart Journey concerts XIII and XIV, with an evening of instrumental Mozart centering the festival.  Ms. Areyzaga will sing in the Grabmusik K42 and Tantum Ergo K142 at the Friday evening concert.  On Sunday, she will be the featured soloist in the C Minor Mass K427, and will perform the soprano aria from Davide penitente K469. Throughout the weekend chamber concerts and other Mozart events will complement these concerts.  Visit for a listing of events.

A half hour, pre-concert lecture, conducted by Wheaton College Professor of Music Jonathan Saylor, begins an hour before each Mozart performance.  It is free to the public and will enhance your listening experience. 

Candlelight Carols
St. Charles Singers well-loved welcome to the holiday season includes festive and contemplative pieces, traditional and some lesser known carols, and a newly commissioned work by composer in residence, Nathaniel Adams.

Join us for an exploration into an amazingly creative period in choral music featuring the music of Debussy, Mendelssohn, Stanford, Rheinberger, Delius, and other Victorian era composers.  Most of the music will be a cappella, but some works will be accompanied by Michael Scott Guiliani, our choir’s collaborative pianist.
