From childhood car rides harmonizing with her father and sisters to joining school and church choirs, choral music has always been a part of Diana Seymour’s life. At the age of 25, she began formal voice training and had her first opportunity to sing with a community chorus. It was during performances of Handel’s Messiah and Mendelssohn’s Elijah that her passion for choral music truly blossomed.

This passion led her to successfully audition for the Florida Philharmonic Chorus, where she and her husband were privileged to sing for eight seasons under the direction of Paul Eisenhart and James Judd, alongside the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. These years of musical collaboration were among the most rewarding of her life.

Now, she continues to celebrate the enduring joy of singing as a member of the Baker Memorial Church Chancel Choir. For her, singing is not just a hobby; it’s a lifelong passion that connects and uplifts.

Joining the Board of Directors for the St. Charles Singers allows her to give back to a musical community that shares her devotion to the transformative power of choral music. She looks forward to contributing her experience and passion to further the mission and vision of this exceptional ensemble.
