Lydia Walsh-Rock is a Chicagoland-native soprano and music teacher. She performs frequently as a choral artist in Chicago and the surrounding areas. Lydia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Illinois, where she studied voice with Professor Ricardo Herrera.

As a choral educator, Ms. Walsh-Rock strives to instill healthy vocal techniques, foster an appreciation for strong musicianship, and create joyful singing experiences for her students. She is currently a choral director at West Aurora High School (Aurora, IL), where she teaches curricular choirs, acapella groups, Digital Music Production, and AP Music Theory.
