Soprano Meredith Taylor Mollica received her Doctor of Music degree in voice with honors from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Meredith sings soprano with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and spends her time both performing and teaching in the Chicago area. Professional regional opera credits include many main stage appearances with Cedar Rapids Opera Company and Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre as well as local Chicago opera companies Chicago Opera Playhouse and Petite Opera Productions. Meredith also stage directs for the Outreach Opera program at Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre every January, touring local elementary schools and bringing opera to new, young audiences. Meredith recently completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Corepower Yoga and is teaching power yoga in the western suburbs, in addition to voice and piano lessons out of her home in Naperville. Meredith has two girls, two dogs, two cats and one amazing husband.
