Steve Wright

Steve was born in Chicago, but grew up in New Jersey where he obtained a B.A. in History from Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University (NJ).  He and his wife, Ginny, have lived in New Jersey, Downers Grove, then back to New Jersey, then on to Dallas (Richardson), Texas.  In 1989, he accepted a corporate relocation to St. Charles, this time with two more in toe, his children, Kimberly and Christopher.  In 1990, my family joined the Baker Memorial United Methodist Church family and my wife and I immediately became active members by joining the Chancel Choir.  Steve has served the church in many capacities: Finance Committee Chair, Staff Parish Relations Committee, Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) Youth Council, and as Chair of the Church Council.
Steve has coached youth sports in St. Charles, and was Secretary of the St. Charles (East) Boys Basketball Boosters.  His son and daughter (& her husband and two grandchildren) continue to reside in the Chicago area.

Steve's professional career has included positions with JCPenney Co. in the private label credit card division, with First Chicago Bank (now Chase) consumer credit bankcard division in a credit policy and administration capacity, and with Citibank’s retail branch banking credit decision management team.  Steve has also worked with Heller Financial and is currently working with HSBC Bank as VP & Director in the Retail Risk Management division.
Steve is also a licensed facilitator for the Franklin Covey Leadership Center.
