Mary Kunstman returned to St. Charles Singers last season after a seven year hiatus following the births of her two young daughters, Kailey and Emma. Mary grew up in the small town of Lindenwood, Illinois and grew up loving music from an early age.
Mary graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in music education and received her Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Aurora University. Mary has taught general music for the past ten years at McDole elementary in the Kaneland school district.

Mary’s favorite composers include John Rutter, Gabriel Faure, and Eric Whitacre. Mary is also married to Bryan Kunstman, also a member of fellow St. Charles Singers and is excited to be performing again with such a wonderful group of musicians and friends.
