Kathy Bourne’s educational background includes a B.A., English major with French and German minors from Lawrence University, Appleton, WI. She earned her M.A. in Counseling and Behavioral Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI.
Now retired, her work experience includes teaching at the secondary level and serving as a university counselor. Following these opportunities she became a management consultant. Kathy notes that “In each of my work settings, I recognized and defined needs of clients and/or the employer, defined those needs, proposed solutions and, individually or as leader of a team, designed and implemented appropriate programs to meet the need(s). When working for a for-profit consulting company, the programs added to successful marketing of services and to the profit of my employer.
Kathy currently serves as a member of The Advisory Committee, a strategic planning group formed by and reporting to the President of Lawrence University.
