
Ingrid M. Burrichter is a native of St. Charles, Illinois. She graduated summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance, and was a student of Dr. Sam Scifres. Through IWU, she ventured abroad to study music in Vienna, Austria. Following an internship with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association, she participated in the League of American Orchestra's Essentials of Orchestra Management program in New York. She has held positions in development and marketing with the Washington National Opera and Elgin Symphony Orchestra, and currently with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Chris.
In addition to her role as a soprano in the St. Charles Singers, Ingrid is proud to have been awarded a St. Charles Singers Scholarship upon graduation from St. Charles East High School, and currently serves on the St. Charles Singers’ marketing committee.
