Drayton began singing with the St. Charles Singers in 2015 and has thoroughly enjoyed his experience with the organization.  

Drayton received his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Northern Illinois University in 2010.  Drayton loved his time at NIU and still maintains many of the friendships and relationships that he developed from his time there.   While Drayton attended Northern Illinois, Drayton performed in the NIU Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Opera Workshop.  His education was most beneficial and he thanks the professors, staff and peers at NIU for believing in him and taking extra time to craft him into the musician he is today.  Drayton would like to personally thank Myron Myers, Dr. Mary Lynn Doherty, Dr. Eric Johnson, Dr. Ed Klonoski, Dr. Tim Blickhan and the one and only, Lynn Retherford.

Drayton currently is the director of choirs at his high school alma mater, Sycamore High School.  Drayton began in 2011 and has seen his passion for music and students grow in ways he never thought possible.  He is so happy to be able to give back and shape musical minds in the community that taught him so much.

Drayton also serves as Co-Worship Leader at FBC Church in Sycamore, IL where he has done so since he was a youth.  

Finally, Drayton recently fell in love with the woman of his dreams, Darcy.  They wed in September 2014 and she is his constant and everything.  They reside in Sycamore.
