David Hunt

David is practically a charter member of St Charles Singer. He joined the choir in 1984. A native of St. Charles, Illinois, David says that he "thought St. Charles was rid of (me) after high school, but it drew me back after a few years away."
David graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota with a degree in Vocal Music Education. He also completed an informal year of music and French study in Aix-en-Provence, France.
David owns Town House Books & Cafe, in St. Charles.
His musical experience includes musical theatre and cabaret work with "Six Singers and a Piano".
His favorite composers include Mozart, Bach and Sondheim.
David has been with his partner, Doug Bella, since 1996. For fun David enjoys travel (especially to NYC whenever he can) and travel in general. He loves books and other book lovers. He is partial to anything French especially Paris.
