Bridget began her career with St. Charles Singers in 1990 as an “extra” for a Mozart Festival. In addition to singing, she served as a Board member and box office manager for the choir. She is a native of Streamwood, IL and grew up with a love of music.
To earn her B.S. in Music Education, Bridget completed coursework at Elgin Community College, St. Xavier University, University of Illinois and Governor’s State University. Her post-graduate studies have taken her to Northwestern University, Northern Illinois University and Vandercook College of Music. Bridget's choral music and theatre teaching has stretched round the Chicagoland area as well as the U.K. She is currently Instructor for theatre classes and Honors Choirs at Fenwick High School in Oak Park.
Aside from her work with St. Charles Singers, Bridget has performed with Six Singers and a Piano (a local cabaret ensemble), Steel Beam Theatre and Elgin Community College Theatre. She has enjoyed working both on and offstage as an actor, singer, freelance stage/vocal director. Bridget loves choral, jazz, musical theatre and rock music to name a few. Her other interests include visiting independent coffeehouses, reading, dinners with friends, time with family, and traveling.
Bridget is most grateful for her family, as they are always an example of truly living a life of passion, hard work, adventure, generosity and gratitude.
