Bridget began her career with St. Charles Singers in 1990 as an €œextra€for a Mozart Festival and has been a singer with the choir ever since. In addition to being a proud member of the Alto section, she has also served as a Board Member and Box Office Manager.

Bridget’s passion for the performing arts has led her to a diverse and exciting career as a high school music and theatre educator. Undergraduate coursework includes Elgin Community College, St. Xavier University, University of Illinois and Governor’s State University. Post-graduate studies have taken her to Northwestern University, Illinois State University and Vandercook College of Music. Bridget’s public and private school teaching has stretched round Chicagoland as well as the U.K. Chicago Public Schools is where she is currently teaching and developing a music program with Hyde Park Academy High School.

Though St. Charles Singers is her heart and soul, Bridget has also happily performed with Six Singers and a Piano, Chicago Choral Artists, Steel Beam Theatre and Elgin Community College Theatre. She has enjoyed working both on and offstage as an actor, singer, and freelance stage/vocal director. Bridget loves choral, jazz, musical theatre and rock music to name a few. Other joys include visiting independent coffeehouses, reading, food photography, quality time with family and friends, and traveling.

Bridget is most grateful for her family and friends, as they are an ever present example of truly living a life of passion, hard work, adventure, generosity and gratitude.
