Andy Jeffrey
Tenor
Andy joined St Charles Singers in 1999. He was raised in St Charles, Illinois. He graduated from Taylor University, Upland, Indiana with a Bachelor of Music Education. His post graduate work was completed at Northern Illinois University where he earned a Masters in Music Education.
Currently he is choral director at Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Previously he has been music director at Spotlight Theatre in Bakersfield, California and has performed in various "roles and directing gigs".
His favorite music period is the Renaissance and he has a fondness for any kind of polychoral music. When he's not singing he enjoys running, reading, and traveling to "anywhere my current bank account balance will allow".
Andy says that singing is the expression of his soul. Andy is married to Kate who is a soprano in the choir.
